As the digital content division of OML Entertainment, the Global Creator Network (GCN) develops branded content together with creators and influencers across various digital platforms. We strive to drive digital campaign resonance through-the-line, backing our solutions with strong data insights and measuring impact all through.
Over the last 2 and a half years, we have co-created more than 10,500 pieces of content and worked with over 380 creators, building equity for the brands and the creators we work with. We have delivered campaigns in over 17 countries across the regions of SEA, India, China, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Latin America.
As a team we’re passionate about content and pride ourselves in a ‘creator-first’ ethos -representing not just the brands interest but also helping creators grow and develop when we engage with them.
Our teams are based out of Mumbai (India), Moscow (Russia) and Thailand (Bangkok) are structured to plan and deliver campaigns for specific areas or clusters across the globe.
We’re looking for someone to lead our Media and Analytics team that is in charge of the analytical strategy behind our content decisions and impact measurement. A high awareness of digital trends and the necessary skills to analyse, strategise & execute them while working with creators, influencers and KOL’s across multiple geographies, will be needed.
The team works cross-functionally to translate the incredible amount of data on digital platforms, content consumption patterns, creator trends and digital landscapes to shape business and content decisions. The team also evaluates the general programming and content strategy, in addition to leading competitive analysis. The team partners closely with the leadership at OML on the strategic insights provided to inform critical business decisions.

The Role: 

  • You will enable senior leadership decision making by streamlining the measurement of KPIs.
  • You will lead the media and analytics processes and systems across the Global Creator Network vertical. You are responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics and overlook the implementation of the processes.
  • You will take key decisions in licensing and building tech and tools.
  • You execute deep & complex quantitative analysis over the content campaigns’ data and turn them into insights.
  • You lead and mentor the media and analytics team.
  • You will track content consumption, platform evolution and new digital media trends across the globe turning them into impact/actions for teams at GCN 

You Are:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline. MBA from a tier 1/2 college is good to have.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in content/media buying/Media Analytics landscape
  • You have a passion for the entertainment business and a strong understanding of popular culture and internet technology.
  • You have a deep understanding of Media Agency as well as the creator’s way of working/ principles / consultative selling will be an added advantage.
  • You have a deep understanding of the key metrics, insights, and analytics across different social media and content platforms (Primarily Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok ).
  • You are familiar with the public data APIs and access to data across different social platforms, Coding skills (Python, Javascript is a huge plus). 
  • You can perform gracefully in a multitasking project environment with attention to detail.

Recruiter notes –

The role needs you to be on top of the YouTube and Instagram . You need to know the API services these platforms have if not build apps using those APIs.

You should have an inherent love for content and pop culture and you should know how organic content works. The videos you watch on Instagram and youTube, how did they grow the channels and what kind of content gets what kind of engagement.

While you need to have experience in media buying and performance marketing, this role might not give you ample opportunities to use your media buying skills and rather focus on creating the strategies for building better organic content.

Engagement rate/retention/sentiment/organic views/ healthy video view growth: These are some of the very relevant KPIs for us, while the rest of the media industry is focusing on impressions/ views/ Clicks/ CPM etc.
